On September 18, Rustam Minnikhanov took the oath of office as President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On September 13, Election Day, Kazan Arena hosted a family festival. A number of theme areas for adults and children were set up in front of the stadium: a classic car show, a loft area for young people, a fight of mascots, an autograph session with the players of Tatarstan’s leading sports clubs and an outdoors workout.

The Don State Technical University celebrated its 85^th anniversary on September 10^th.

The 10th Russia Arms Expo, an international exposition of arms, military equipment and ammunition, started on September 9 at NTIIM Nizhny Tagil State demonstration-exhibition center of arms and military equipment to be on till September 12.

Rostov-on-Don hosted a sporting youth festival named Children in Sports on September 5^th. Panorama Rostov organized a live broadcast of the event. 

On September 1, Panorama Rostov produced a live broadcast of the Peace Lesson conducted by Vasily Golubev, the provisional governor of the Rostov Region.

On August 31, Kyrgyzstan marked 24 years of its independence. President Almazbek Atambayev addressed the Kyrgyz people on the occasion.

On August 20, Rostov-on-Don’s Theater Square in the heart of the city hosted the Opening Gala for the Bridge of Arts, the 1st International Motivational Film Festival.

On July 25, FIFA conducted the preliminary draw for the 2018 World Cup at the Konstantin Palace in Strelna, outside St. Petersburg.

Nature Park Muradymovo Gorge hosted the gala concert of the Baik children’s dance festival on July 25.
