Krasnoyarsk Celebrates Victory Day

10.05.2014

On May 9, a 1,500-strong parade featuring 27 formations of the Armed Forces, police, rescue units and military academies marched across Krasnoyarsk‘s Revolution Square.

The first VIP rows of the stands were reserved for the war veterans. For the first time in the history of parades, the flyover featured three А-22 aircraft as a special tribute to the local amateur pilots who had joined the Air Force and fought their way to Berlin during the war. The aircraft carried a replica of the Victory Banner, the official flag of the Russian Federation and the flag of Krasnoyarsk Region.

Panorama produced a broadcast of the celebrations for the Yenisey TV Channel.
